With the likes of Rutherglen, famous for its wines. The well known wine maker’s have cellar door sales and are open most days.

Also there’s Beechworth for its history, a walk back in time with so many shops to browse for many knick knacks.

Also not far away is Yarrawonga a great place to visit.

Albury and Wodonga are the major close by towns. While just over the hill is Lake Hume, a sight to see from the top of the spillway and a great place to have a picnic on the banks.

Visit Ned Kelly's hang out at Glenrowan or head off to Wagga for the day.
